Lโextension du bรขtiment compte une sรฉrie de techniques innovantes en matiรจre de construction รฉcologique ainsi que les derniรจres technologies en termes dโefficacitรฉ รฉnergรฉtique. Une partie du bรขtiment, comprenant des salles de confรฉrence et de rรฉunions, est louรฉe afin dโoptimiser lโutilisation de lโespace disponible et gรฉnรฉrer des revenus. Le bรขtiment comporte un centre pour les visiteurs et une cafeteria administrรฉe par une entreprise de restauration professionnelle. JOB DESCRIPTION โข Welcome and direct visitors and guests, professionally and courteously. Greet IUCN Staff and tenants with a welcoming and smiling attitude;
โข Receive incoming telephone calls for IUCN and other organisations, filter and promptly transfer to persons concerned; take messages as necessary;
โข Serve as focal point for touristic information, train transport, and local facilities;
โข Order local transportation (taxi) upon request;
โข Manage conference room booking through an electronic system; ensure coordination of demands within the General Services Unit and the concerned services (Cafeteria, IT);
โข Support the General Services Officer for external room reservations;
โข Maintain and publish the monthly internal telephone list;
โข Keep abreast of โwho is where and whenโ and serve as a principal source of information;
โข Update weekly the list of arrivals and departures, as well as events;
โข Distribute badges for access control and cafeteria payments for new Staff;
โข Manage simple alarms (access control) and assist during evacuation
โข Petty cash;
โข Various administrative tasks as required.
Work schedule
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 11:30 to 15:00
Wednesday 13:00 to 17:00
8:00 to 17:00 during the leave or absences of the Welcome Service Coordinator REQUIREMENTS โข 2-3 years of experience in a similar position
โข Fluent in French and English, Spanish a plus
โข Experience in a multicultural environment and high culture sensitivity.
โข Good practice with Microsoft office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
โข Good presentation, sense of discretion and diplomacy, humour a plus
โข Organised and multitasks
โข Capacity to be efficient under pressure
โข Service oriented, flexible, open minded and team player
โข Flexibility to work full time during colleagueโs holidays and evenings on demand SALARY The gross annual salary for this position is between CHF 31'654 and CHF 39'567, subject to deductions for social security contributions and second-pillar pension, and before tax. While this is an indicative amount effective as of the current date, changes may occur as per IUCN's compensation practices without prior notice. The same applies to other organisations hosted by IUCN.
