Under the overall supervision of Chief of Mission and theย Programme Officer (NFI/Common Pipeline)ย and the direct supervision of the National Programme Support Officer, and in close coordination with the other Information Management Assistants, the successful candidate will support the SNFI unitโs data collection, protection, management and utilization.ย
The incumbent will be responsible for supporting unit data and the systems required for its storage, protection and analysis. They will support the unitโs reporting and monitoring by collecting, consolidating and extracting relevant data for use in internal and external publications, reviews, reports and assessments. Additionally, they will ensure data sharing procedures and deadlines are respected, with particular attention to regular and ad-hoc internal, cluster, OCHA, partner, and donor requests for information. ย
- Support SNFI technical data management by maintaining high standards of data quality across the Unit. This includes coordinating and maintaining data collection, storage and utilization platforms and tools. Comply with relevant IOM internal frameworks and policies, with particular regard to data management and protection standards.
- Support in managing existing and/or launch new platforms and tools for the collection, management and analysis of SNFI Unit data, verifying that platforms are fit for purpose, capable of recording and parsing granular and Unit-specific data and secured in accordance with IOMโs data protection principles.
- Support the SNFI Unit within IOM Ukraine by addressing its data collection, protection, management, and analysis needs. Additionally, provide assistance with data collection and verification as required, which may involve traveling to field locations and working outside the assigned duty station for extended periods.
- Train team members, implementing partners and other relevant parties on the utilization of data collection and management tools, including mobile data collection apps and database software.
- Collaborate with relevant IOM Units to provide SNFI data for donors, headquarters, partners, the Cluster system, or internal needs. Support data sharing with mission IM and M&E Units.ย
- Support the development and circulation of regular factsheets with SNFI Unit data for internal use, and assist in the creation of visualizations, reports, datasets, maps and other infographics as requested on an ad-hoc basis.
- Assist with the daily coordination of CFM inquiries, including requests for assistance, beneficiary complaints, and community feedback. Support case resolution by communicating with teams and hubs,ย and contribute to the timely closure of cases by actively monitoring progress and issuing regular follow-up reminders to designated focal points of relevant projects and activities.

- High School diploma with five years of relevant professional experience.
- Bachelorโs degree in data science, computer science, software engineering, statistics, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with three years of relevant professional experience.
Credentialling or certification in industry standard data platforms, tools and processes is an advantage. ย Experience
- Previous experience in utilizing and/or creating data collection and analysis programmes and platforms;ย
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, KoboToolbox, PowerBI, SQL tools; skills in ArcGIS, Tableau, Python, R, Adobe Creative Suite an advantage;
- Previous experience of working in an international organization;
- Demonstrated experience with and commitment to data collection and protection principles;ย
- Strong statistical analysis and data management skills; the selected candidate will be able to analyze trends, hypothesize conclusions and summarize complex concepts based on raw data;
- Demonstrated knowledge of data collection tools, applications and systems, including back-end and highly technical modification/manipulation of these systems, if required;
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills;
- Proven ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with people of diverse cultural and national backgrounds. Skills
- Knowledge of industry standard data collection, management, protection and analysis tools and processes;
- Knowledge of humanitarian relief operations related to the Ukrainian context, especially in the SNFI sector;
