The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) established its operations in Nigeria in 2015 and currently operates in two area offices covering Adamawa, Borno, and Plateau states, with a country office in Abuja. NRC also hosts the Nigeria INGO Forum (NIF). Current programming includes support to local partners, localisation activities, and interventions in ICLA, WASH, Shelter, Education, Livelihoods, and Protection.
The Grants Intern plays a key role in supporting the Grants Officer by ensuring smooth administrative and compliance processes, maintaining accurate documentation, and fostering coordination between program, finance, and M&E teams. The role involves updating grants trackers, organizing project cycle management meetings, and supporting donor reporting requirements. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to learn the fundamentals of grants management while contributing to humanitarian programming.
Responsibilities
Generic Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with NRC policies and donor guidelines.Provide administrative and coordination support to the grants team.Maintain effective filing and documentation systems.Support process improvement initiatives.Assist in updating grants trackers and management tools.Coordinate project cycle management meetings and follow up on action points.Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality.Contribute to internal coordination and reporting.Specific Responsibilities

Qualifications
