ContextThe joint mission report on populations affected by the CameroonโNigeria border demarcation is a critical advocacy and fundraising tool for the Government of Cameroon, the United Nations, and partners. To mobilize resources and communicate effectively with donors, local authorities, and communities, the report must meet high-quality international standards. The Online Volunteerโs contributions will strengthen advocacy, fundraising, and sensitization efforts, supporting SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
Task DescriptionWe seek support of 1 Online Volunteer who, under the supervision of the Communications and Reporting Officer at IOM Cameroon, will provide graphic design and communication support for the joint mission report on populations affected by the CameroonโNigeria border demarcation and related advocacy materials. Specifically, the Online Volunteer will be asked to: โข Redesign the full joint mission report (approx. 45โ50 pages) into an attractive, professional format, including infographics, charts, and photos; โข Ensure visual consistency (fonts, color codes, branding) aligned with UN and Government standards; โข Provide final outputs in PDF and editable formats; โข Support translation work and bilingual production to ensure consistency between English and French versions; โข Produce derivative products such as executive summaries, flyers, social media visuals, slide decks, donor briefs, and workshop materials; โข Develop visual and multimedia content (scenarios, short videos, posters, infographics) to promote peaceful coexistence and highlight Government/UN efforts; โข Ensure confidentiality and transfer of property rights of all final products to IOM/UN. There will be regular communication via email and online meetings to discuss matters relating to the task.
