Introduction
Country: Vietnam
Description of the Assignment: International consultant for Innovative M&E Approaches Trainer.
Period of assignment/services: September 2025 to October 2025 (10 days)
UNDP Viet Nam has a long-standing partnership with the Government of Viet Nam and plays a key role in supporting national efforts to strengthen governance, promote access to justice, and ensure inclusive development. Under the Country Programme Document (CPD) 2022โ2026, UNDP supports the country in advancing a just, safe, and inclusive society through improved governance, responsive institutions, rule of law, gender equality, and protection of human rights.
The Governance and Participation Team (GPT) leads the delivery of this mandate through a wide range of projects and programmes funded by multiple donors, covering thematic areas such as rule of law, access to justice, inclusive governance, mine action, health governance, and human rights.
To address this, GPT is seeking to strengthen its internal capacity on innovative, adaptive and impact-focused M&E methodologies tailored to governance programming.
A short-term international consultant will be engaged to design and deliver in-house training that introduces practical, adaptive, and non-traditional approachesโsuch as outcome harvesting, participatory M&E, technology-enabled tracking, gender-responsive frameworks, and utilization-focused evaluation.
Proposal should be submitted directly in the portal no later than indicated deadline.
Any request for clarification must be sent in writing via messaging functionality in the portal. UNDP will respond in writing including an explanation of the query without identifying the source of inquiry.
