The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the specific coordination of logistical matters for NRC Bangladesh Coxโ€™s Bazar. The Logistics Coordinator will support office logistics systems setup, compliance and logisticsโ€™ team capacity building.ย  Including staff management, coaching, mentoring and coordination between programmes, and other support departments. ย The Logistics Coordinator is based in Cox Bazar but is also responsible for Ukhiya Office and the camps/host communities where the NRC is operational.

Generic professional competencies for this position:

Experience from working as a Logistician or Logistics Coordinator or in similar position in a humanitarian/recovery context for minimum 3 years.ย  Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts Documented results related to the positionโ€™s responsibilities Fluency in English and Bangla both written and verbalย  Good knowledge of logistics reporting systems Good hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Good knowledge of Procurement Procedures and regulations Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently with strong team player skills Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Ability to travel extensively within Bangladesh

Context/ Specific skills, knowledge and experience:ย 

University degree in Management, Accounting, Diploma in Supply chain Management, Masters in business administration/BBA or graduation in Management or similar educational background. Knowledge of the Coxโ€™s Bazar context Knowledge of Rohingya dialect is an added value Experience with scale-up of programming
