The Incumbent: 1.Supervisor: The incumbent of this post is responsible to the (Senior) Field Security Officer in SFO, LFO, JFO and WBFO, or to the Senior National Security Officer in HQA and GFO. 2.Supervisees: The incumbent of this post supervises the Guard Force Services at the Field Office ResponsibilitiesThe Incumbent: 1 Assists the supervisor in the development and implementation of the ad hoc Security Risk Management (SRM) process and Security Plan, and other routine security documents, such as, but not limited to, security contingency plans and evacuation plans. 2 Assists the supervisor in the development and implementation of security policy, guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure security compliance. 3 Manages security access control procedures, systems, and equipment; conducts periodic security assessment for premises and installations to ensure provisions for an effective guard force; is responsible for the overall training and day-to-day operational/technical support of the guard force. 4 Assists in preparing, coordinating, and providing security briefings and training for personnel. 5 Prepares and administers or assists in the administration of security related budgets; advises the (Senior) Field Security Officer on the acquisition and inventory control of security related equipment. 6 Conducts periodic premises/installation Security Risk Management (SRM) processes; ensures compliance with SRM measures; assists the supervisor in the establishment and effective function of a Communications/Wardens system for UNRWA and the periodic testing of these systems. 7 Assists the supervisor to monitor, collect, update, assess and disseminate security related information; is responsible for reporting on security matters to Headquarters as required by the supervisor. 8 As directed by the supervisor , responds, and assists personnel affected by security incidents, and monitors compliance to security standards and procedures. 9 Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with local security authorities.
