IOM is dedicated to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all. It does so by providing services and advice to governments and migrants. The Staff Development and Learning (SDL) team, part of the Integrated Talent Management Division (ITMD) under the Department of Human Resources (DHR) of IOM, manages programs to meet the learning and professional development needs of IOM staff. The Online Volunteers for Communications will play a key role in supporting SDL initiatives by designing visuals that amplify the impact of SDL initiatives. Working closely with other volunteers, they will help ensure cohesive and effective messaging across platforms. This assignment also offers a meaningful opportunity to gain hands-on experience in internal communications within a UN agency, enhance cross-functional collaboration skills, and contribute to learning and development efforts that support IOM's global workforce. Reporting to the head of SDL, the selected candidate will develop and design communication content and strategies for SDL/ITMD and related projects, as specifically indicated below.
Task DescriptionIOM is currently looking for 3 Online Volunteers to develop and design communication content and strategies for SDL/ITMD and related projects. Specifically, 1 Online Volunteer under this assignment will support in graphic/visual design will be performing the tasks below: - Create visual concepts for communication campaigns, such as project identity, brochures, posters, and illustrations for dissemination across various SDL communication channels, including the intranet, Viva Engage, podcasts, hard print, roll-outs, email, and more. - Collaborate with relevant stakeholders within the unit/division/IOM to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
