ย Context
IOM is working with the Presidency of Migration Management (PMM) to strengthen services under offered to beneficiaries of Assisted Voluntary Return & Reintegration (AVRR) under the Assisted Voluntary & Return Program.
IOM therefore aims to support in the communication and referrals of AVRR beneficiaries throughout Tรผrkiye, as well as strengthening referral and coordination protocols between all relevant stakeholders and enhancing monitoring and evaluation of assistance provided. Such assistance will cover all IOM eligible AVRR beneficiaries regardless of their nationality and/or status, and as such is envisaged to include both โcrisis-affectedโ and โnon-crisis affectedโ beneficiaries. Under the overall supervision of the National Project Officer (Compliance) and the direct supervision of the ย Senior Project Associate (Case Management), the incumbent will be responsible for providing support to the AVRR activities of the mission.
1.ย ย ย ย Assist in the implementation and monitoring of project activities.ย
2.ย ย ย ย Retrieve, compile, summarize, and present information/data on specific AVRR project topics .
3.ย ย ย ย Monitor budget; verify availability of funds; obtain necessary approval and update budget related information. ย ย
4.ย ย ย ย Support administrative coordination of project implementation, involving liaison with diverse organizational units and external parties to initiate requests, obtain necessary clearances, process and follow-up on administrative actions, etc.
5.ย ย ย ย Draft status reports, identifying shortfalls in delivery and bringing them to the attention of the supervisor.ย
6.ย ย ย ย Draft correspondence, reports, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, presentations and other forms of documentation.ย
7.ย ย ย ย Organize meetings, workshops and training sessions.ย
8.ย ย ย ย Respond to general information requests and inquiries; set up and maintain files/records.
9.ย ย ย ย Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education
โข ย ย ย ย School diploma with four years of relevant experience; or,
โข ย ย ย ย Bachelorโs degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience.
Experience
โข ย ย ย ย Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies and non-governmental organizations;
โข ย ย ย ย Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups; and,
โข ย ย ย ย Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
Languages
- For this position, fluency in English and Turkish is required (oral and written).ย
