BACKGROUND:
IRC Hellas participates as a partner in the project โHelios+: โIntegrated actions for the integration of third-country citizens into the labor marketโ in the Region of Attica with Pr. No. 271764/05.11.2024, Call Code: 01 Helios+ and Call Name Number of OPS Information System: 12914, , funded from the Ministry of Migration and Asylum (General Secretariat for Migration Policy โ Special Service for the Coordination and Management of Migration and Home Affairs Programs โ E.Y.SY.D. โ M.E.Y.).
The 30-month project aims to support the integration of third country citizens, Beneficiaries of International Protection and Beneficiaries of Temporary Protection in Greece, through a holistic approach which embodies their access to education, the labor market, and vocational training. The Act will include actions such as enhancing and facilitating access to the labor market through career counseling, enhancing the beneficiariesโ ability to live independently through learning the Greek language, supporting beneficiaries during the integration process and promoting interaction with local communities and their autonomous access to social and public services, enhancing independent living through the provision of housing support, sensitization of host communities and stakeholders for the social and labor integration of beneficiaries.
The Social Cohesion Coordinator of the Center for the Attica Region (based in Athens) will be part of a broad interdisciplinary team, responsible for assessing and managing the various needs of thirdโcountry citizens at the field level.
The selected candidate will provide a wide range of duties for the benefit of beneficiaries and the local community, technically facilitating their interaction and peaceful coexistence. This includes organizing groups, interviews, and informational events with beneficiaries, as well as designing and implementing social cohesion activities and events.
The role is projectโbased and aligned with the objectives and duration of the Helios+ project.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Contribute to all administrative and logistical aspects of the project; Conduct market research; Develop and strengthen relationships between the projectโs beneficiaries and the local community; Coordinate and provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, interviews, and group sessions, and maintaining agendas and minutes; Contribute to the development of a work program in consultation with local authorities and relevant stakeholders; Identify, monitor, and analyze issues affecting or highlighting the smooth coexistence of communities, in close collaboration with the Helios+ Center Manager; Organize events and activities, including developing agendas, arranging speakers, and producing reports and summaries;โข Participate in regular team meetings and external meetings as requested;
โข Ensure relevant project data is accurately collected and updated on a weekly and monthly basis;
โข Maintain program files and databases;
โข Perform other related duties as assigned by the Helios+ Center Manager.
REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS Degree in Humanities, Social Sciences, Education, and/or other related fields; At least three (3) years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the humanitarian field; Excellent knowledge of the Greek language, both spoken and written; Very good knowledge of English (B2); Strong computer skills, particularly in word processing, Excel spreadsheets, and internet services; Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills; Ability to organize and prioritize workload using initiative; Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fastโpaced, dynamic environment.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Salary range: โฌ1400 โ โฌ1600 gross annually, depending on experience and qualifications
(Final compensation will be aligned with candidate experience, role scope, and internal benchmarks.)

โข Travel requirements: Occasional travel to other IRC program areas within Athens
