ContextThe National Roundtable Meeting 2025 is a high-level national development dialogue jointly organized by the Government of Lao PDR and development partners. The meeting serves as a platform to review progress on national priorities, strengthen partnerships, and accelerate collective action toward achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). As part of this event, an Exhibition will be organized at the UN House, showcasing the collaborative efforts and achievements of UN entities, government agencies, and partners in advancing the SDGs in Lao PDR. The exhibition will highlight success stories from the field, innovative initiatives, and impactful community projects implemented across the country.
Task DescriptionWe are seeking the support of Online Volunteers to contribute virtually to the preparation and communication activities for the LAOS PDR National Roundtable Meeting 2025 and its accompanying Exhibition. Under the guidance of the organizing team, the selected volunteers will help ensure the exhibition effectively communicates development results and the UNโs collective impact in Lao PDR. The workload will be divided equally among Online Volunteers basis skillset. Please specify the position you intend to support in your application. 1. Communication and Content Design (2-3 Volunteers) - Draft the event layout, visual content, and communication materials. - Support the design and editing of digital materials such as posters, banners, and short photo stories. - Organize and compile photos and captions that best represent the eventโs theme and objectives. 2. Exhibition Preparation (2-3 Volunteers) - Assist in planning and coordination of exhibition materials to ensure consistency and alignment with UN communication standards. - Contribute creative ideas for visual storytelling and presentation design. - Review and edit exhibition content for clarity and accuracy. 3. Post-Event Support (2-3 Volunteers) - Help organize and summarize materials from the exhibition for reporting or communication follow-up. - Draft short event highlights or communication summaries for internal and social media use.
