Technical Director, Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health (MNCH)

The Technical Director, MNCH is responsible for providing leadership and oversight for activities in MNCH under the Meeting Targets and Maintaining Epidemic Control (EpiC) project in Nepal.. The Technical Director will be required to implement ambitious work plans to improve MNCH outcomes in Karnali, Lumbini, and Sudurpaschim provinces in partnership with the Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP), especially the Family Welfare Division (FWD), Department of Health Services (DoHS) as well as subnational government authorities. The Technical Director will contribute to the design of interventions, work alongside the government, project staff, and local implementing partners to ensure technical excellence. The individual in this role will collaborate with other team members to ensure the provision of life-saving commodities and equipment align with on-the-ground needs and contribute to monitoring, evaluation, research, and learning activities. The Technical Director will work closely with the EpiC Nepal Project Director, Technical Director, Nutrition, and other senior project leaders, the United States Department of State, FWD/DoHS officials, and EpiC technical backstops in MNCH strategic information, and program management to achieve an ambitious set of results quickly.
