5 Steps to get a job in the United Nations

VN 26/08 Junior Data Storage Engineer

Ready to launch your career with Europeโ€™s meteorological satellite agency? At EUMETSAT, we are not just monitoring the weather and climate from spaceโ€”we are shaping the future of weather and climate science, 24/7, 365 days a year.

Be part of a dynamic team where your efforts contribute to a greater purpose. As a Junior Data Storage Engineer, within the IT and Data Infrastructures Division (I2D), you will have the opportunity to work on a multi-hundreds-of-petabytesโ€“scale data storage infrastructure, delivering storage, backup, and archival services in support of satellite operations, data services, and corporate IT.

While working across complex, large-scale environments, you will collaborate with experts to maintain and enhance the services running on the data infrastructure. Whether you are harnessing object storage technology to support a reliable data lake or fine-tuning the storage area network to enable low-latency transactions, you will be at the forefront of delivering mission-critical data storage services to users.

With EUMETSAT, your work isn't just a jobโ€”it's a mission to empower decision-makers, protect communities, and safeguard our planet.
