Mission and objectivesThe Frontier Tech Leaders Programme is a joint initiative of UNDP Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (ICPSD) SDG AI Lab and UN Technology Bank for Least Developed Countries and supported by the Government of Tรผrkiye. The Frontier Tech Leaders Programme aims to raise a new generation of tech specialists to strengthen local capacities and develop digital solutions for the LDCs (Least Developed Countries) towards achieving the SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). Furthermore, the initiative will inspire young people as well as promote gender equality, encouraging women to pursue tech education and careers.
ContextAs part of the Frontier Tech Leaders Programme, the volunteer will play a key role in advancing the programmeโs technical and educational goals by creating high-quality cloud development content, preparing detailed instructional materials, and delivering engaging webinars. These efforts will aim to empower participants with practical skills and knowledge to design and implement cloud-based solutions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Task DescriptionThe Volunteer will be responsible for: Cloud Development Content Creation: Developing technical and educational materials focused on cloud computing practices, services, and tools aligned with SDG-related projects. This includes tutorials, guides, and sample projects. Training Resource Development: Preparing comprehensive training materials, including presentations, code samples, and hands-on exercises to support participants' learning. Webinar Delivery: Conducting engaging webinars on cloud development topics, ensuring clear communication of concepts and fostering an interactive learning environment. Collaborative Curriculum Development: Working closely with programme leads to align content with project goals and update materials based on feedback.
