BACKGROUND AND UNIT SUMMARY
The World Bank Group is advancing a critical phase of its Information Technology Solution Digital Transformation. (One that places skills, roles, and people at the center of how impact is delivered.) In partnership with Human Resources, the Information Technology Solutions Vice Presidency, is developing a skills assessment initiative to strengthen the alignment between business priorities, digital capabilities, and workforce development and readiness.ย
We are seeking agile, detail-driven professionals to support the execution of this assessment lifecycle within the Client Services (HRDC4) team.ย
This role provides data administration, extraction, and basic analysis in support of the IT skills assessment lifecycle. Maintain clean datasets, support reporting, and ensure assessment data is accurate, complete, and properly secured.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Extraction & Preparationย
โข Pull data from assessment systems and prepare files for review, analysis, or dashboards.ย
โข Support mapping assessments to job roles, levels, and capability categories.ย
โข Complete routine data cleansing to ensure accuracy.ย
ย
Reporting Supportย
โข Build and update simple dashboards, charts, and progress reports.ย
โข Prepare summaries for review by the Senior Administrator and HR Manager.ย
โข Support trend analysis and identification of data gaps.ย
ย
System & Vendor Coordinationย
โข Log system issues and enhancement requests.ย
โข Assist with user acceptance testing and validation when updates are released.ย
โข Maintain inventory of system users, permissions, and access rights.ย
ย
Documentation & Controlsย
โข Maintain data dictionaries, naming conventions, and file-management standards.ย
โข Complete quality assurance checks and support audit readiness.
Selection Criteria
โข Masterโs degree with 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
โข Strong data literacy; comfortable with Excel and basic BI tools.
โข Ability to spot patterns, errors, and inconsistencies in data.ย High attention to detail.
โข Detail-oriented and methodical approach to information handling.
โข Clear communication with strong task follow-through.
